R. Yehuda-Osher bar Eliahu Ozerman/Oyzerman was born in 1832. He was the rabbi and Av Beit-Din in Pusalotas from 1857 and later served as Av Beit-Din & rabbi in Novogeorgievsk, Kherson gub., Ukraine(Narva, Estonia).
Rabbi Ozerman was the author of the books: Beit Yehuda (Vilna, 1880), Beit Lechem Yehuda (Vilna, 1903) and Mateh Yehuda.
R. Aaron-Zalman Dat (Datnovski) was the rabbi in Pusalotas from 1888 – 1904.
R. Moshe Yona Yoffe was born in 1859 in Keidan and died during World War I. He was the son-in-law of Rabbi Aaron-Zalman Dat (Datnovski) who was also a rabbi in Pusalotas. Subsequently he was rabbi in Smilgiai where he opened an optical store in Smilgiai in which his son worked. He donated some of his profits to charity. Rabbi Yoffe was the author of Toldot Aharon.
R. Yakov bar David Klemes (more info) was born in 1880 in Zasliai and died in 1952 in Jerusalem. From 1904-1914 he was the rabbi in Salakas and in Bogorusk from 1926-1933. From 1903 – 1909 he performed marriage ceremonies in Pusalotas. Rabbi Klemes was the Chief Rabbi in Moscow and subsequently a member of the Chief Rabbinate in Israel.
R. Rueven Brog was the Rabbi in Pusalotas from 1909 – 1912. He was a registered pharmacist who graduated from the Vilnius University School of Pharmacy. He and his wife were murdered in 1912 by two Lithuanians who were attempting to rob them. Rabbi Brog was the grandfather of Ehud Barak, former Prime Minister of Israel.
R. Moise Abram Kulber was the Acting Rabbi in Pusalotas during the years:1922 – 1929. Rabbi Kulber was actually the schochet as Pusalotas could not afford to hire a Rabbi.
R. B.J.Yosef Pagramansky served as rabbi in Pusalotas from 1935 – 1939. Later he was a rabbi in Siluva where he was murdered by the Nazis in 1941.
R. Zvi Flaxman (Plechsman) the brother-in-law of Rabbi Pagramansky and he was the rabbi in Pusalotas in 1939.
